Monday

...cities/studios/agencies!

What quiet-living coastal girl doesn't love a trip to the big city once in a while?  It's especially fun visiting super-slick studios, producers and working with a top creative agency too!  Later this week, I'm heading to fabulous Finiflex Studios in Edinburgh.  I'll also be recording a project with The Gate Worldwide and then seeking out the finest purveyors of cappuccino - not easy to come by out in the sticks!  All in a day's work....

Tuesday

...insane courage

"You know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage.
Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery.
And I promise you, something great will come of it."
- Benjamin Mee (We Bought A Zoo)

...Scotland's Museum of Rural Life

Need a spring break?  Escape to the countryside and take in a breath of fresh air at Scotland's National Museum of Rural Life. I've just voiced a series of ads to promote the museum on Real Radio and it's got me in the moooooooood for going!

...Earth, the pale blue .

I found this thought-provoking short video via Provokateur, one of my favourite ethical communications agencies. It features the voice of astronomer, Carl Sagen.

Tuesday

...Family Fund.

This week, I'm working on a voice-over project with this great charity!  Family Fund are the UK's largest provider of grants to low-income families raising disabled and seriously ill children and young people.

...perspective.

You are precious and extraordinarily unique.
Your existence as you were, are and will become
is a vital part of the whole.
Your insights are irreplaceable, you see with your eyes
a view that has never been seen before.
You hear with your ears what has never been heard before.
You feel with your heart what has never been felt before.
And with this gift of existence, all you have to do is be yourself.
